I did trade v8 for 8. I traded because of mileage and the 4000 dollars cash back, as well as a deer did 7000 dollars damage a couple of years ago, and repainted parts don't always look so good later down the road.

Thanks for the input. I decided to go ahead and pull the trigger. I traded my 03 with 125000 miles for the new 08. It is a salsa red 4wd limited. Sticker was 41500. The difference with tax, doc fee and everything else was 26,250.

Excellent point I hadn't thought about. I wonder if they are going to produce very few 09's to keep that from happening?

I just went to another dealer and they beat the other deal by 1000 dollars. The difference will be 26,250. I am only interested in the v8 4wd. I appreciate the input. I am really torn as to what to do. My thinking is that when the 2010 comes out, it will end up costing me about 9000 more...

I am thinking about trading my 03 limited 4wd with 125000 miles for an 08 limited 4wd to take advantage of the 4000 dollar cash back incentive. Are there any differences between my 03 and the 08. Do you advise making the trade? The difference will be around 27000 after taxes and registration...
