Will JBA allow you to reach that magical 4 degrees of caster? Also being a ball joint is it better suited for winter environments and all the road salt and such?

Had a similar issue again after a heavy snowy commute this morning, going from 4H to 2H, the lever felt very resistant, not the usual smooth deactivation. This is all at low speed, foot off the gas, trying to just disengage. The 4WD light also wouldn't turn off (not blinking, just solid)until...

It's not pretty. As others have mentioned...there are some options to help. URD MAF calibrator, y-pipe or just splurge for the supercharger. A sprint booster or pedal commander won't help your towing situation, but it will help eliminate the throttle lag and at least for "normal" driving...
