When I did the wheels, I used the prep spray that they sell at dipyourcar.com That stuff worked really well.

I did badges, roof rails, wheels and the chrome strip on the running boards. The only one that didn't work well was the running boards - my daughter sort of slides down them when she gets out of the car and that peels it off. Surprisingly, the dip has held up well to half of a tough winter -...

I don't think anybody actually said it, but you can't get 3rd row and a slider. I have the third row and use it from time to time. Generally my 6 year old and a friend who sit in booster seats (easy to take move around) use the back row. In a pinch, my 5'7" wife can sit back there for shorter...

Thanks USMCASA - Everytime I would make a call via bluetooth, it would ring twice then the system would reboot. I've been accused of repeated butt-dialing! I took your advice and the issue seems to be gone.

Plasti Dip Hit the logos, roof rack and running boards with plasti-dip. Much happier now that all that chrome is gone. Sorry for the bad pix - she's a little dirty at the moment.

Check the shape of the corners on your shank. I have a bike rack that didn't fit in the receiver until I rounded the corners with a metal file.
