It’s been 3 years since I had the Yota Shop motor installed. I ended up getting an Gen 2 supercharger and the same time to replace the original, which cost about $2k. Almost half the price of the whole kit since it was already set up for an s/c. Only about about 15k miles on it. Zero issues...
Install ended up costing $2600 with them supplying very few parts and doing a couple of extra things for me. If anyone is ever in need of good mechanics in the Savannah Ga area, I have several to refer you to.
I have zero regrets about the route I took. Yotashop and Superchargers online have...
I put a Yotashop reman 5vz-fe dressed Longblock and New Magnuson Supercharger in my 4Runner. I have been combing through the forums trying to piece together a maintenance schedule for my particular vehicle. I thought I’d share it with y’all to see if anyone has anything they would do differently...

Update: Diagnosed Blown head gasket. Decided to pull the trigger on a Yotashop motor. Also purchased for install:
Gasket set
Radiator
6x injectors
Engine Install Kit
Knock sensor wire
Total price was a whopping $6700. It's ridiculous, but cheaper than a new car and I had the money saved. I'd...
I got my rig repainted and lost a couple of the roof rack screws. The screws/bolts that mount the rails directly to the roof. Anyone have a part number or source to get new ones?
I hit up the local dealership and he indicated it wouldn’t be to easy to find. I’m following up this week but...
I mentioned the supercharger to them and they simply stated that it would not void the warranted as long as the pulley did not exceed the Toyota recommended 6lbs of boost.
