Barcelona Red 4Runners! Let's see them!

Finally found my Unicorn wheels. Found them used in great condition and the fifth wheel still in the box. Only seen them released once in 17x9s and brushed bronzed. Plus she cleans up well!

Dobinsons IMS Struts and Shocks - Adjustable Height Monotubes - 5th Gen 4Runners

Here’s a 2015 3rd row with IMS. 302s at the 213mm setting and 327s on the rear, it rides great even without a load. 285s and the UCAs haven’t been upgraded in this photo. Alignment was good and tracked fine.

Did Red 4Runner with 4wd and 3rd row seats ever exist?

Dobinsons 5th Gen T4R Suspension options - from Exit Offroad

I think the 327s will be your best bet. 329s would be to aggressive and make that ride super harsh when unloaded. I have a third row load, spare tire carrier, e load full size spare. When I have no kids in the back, I put a 80 lbs sandbag in the back just to make it ride better. With (2) 100 lbs...

6112/5160 - Help with rear coils on (minimal lift)

Dobinsons has a front coil C59-748 for the 6112s, which is an inch higher than the Pro coil, set to the bottom clip. Then match it with the rear coil C59-599 which lifts it 1 to 1.25 inches. Those coils should be able to handle the sliders and skid. I used the 5100s paired with 302 and 505 coils...

Barcelona Red 4Runners! Let's see them!

Figured I’d post a new pic since I lifted her buttcheeks. Swapped the rear Dobinsons 505 coils and 5100s out for 327s and Dobinsons IMS shocks. Helped with the 3rd row and extra weight.

Dobinson springs and 5100s vs Dobinson springs and shocks

With the intention of only swapping the rear coils, my lower left bushing seized up on the 5100. Finally broke it loose with an air chisel. Changed the coils from 505 to 327s. Reinstalled the 5100s and went home and ordered the IMS shocks front and rear. Installed the rears and it has an amazing...

Dobinsons 5th Gen T4R Suspension options - from Exit Offroad

I know you addressed it to Mike, but I’d liked to share my experience. I have the same trim 4runner, 3rd row as well. I went with the 302s, 2.5” fronts and 505, 1.5” rear paired with Bilstein 5100s. Stock UCA, no diff drop. 285s with Fn Pro X wheels installed in 2016. I do carry additional...

    285's

I went with the Coopers. Went from a C load 265s then to C load 285s, both in KO2s. The 265 did amazing, lots mileage, performance in snow and rain, great. Lifted truck. First round of C load in 2018 from BF Goodrich 285, maybe 20,000 miles. Had a good slide in rain, first time that happened and...

Dobinsons 5th Gen T4R Suspension options - from Exit Offroad

They’re an E load. Only have around 3,000 miles on them. I just did a 300 mile trip and it’s an absolute gas guzzler with the new tires and all my non compliant aero dynamic crap on her. I probably did around 79 mph the majority of the drive. She’s a huge fat chick!! Braking and acceleration...

That’s with 265s and OEM TRD wheel’s offset. No rubbing or trimming done.

Dobinsons 5th Gen T4R Suspension options - from Exit Offroad

No measurements taken. I’ll grab some to see if there’s any difference. I’m sure there is. I think 505s is want you want. 325 is what I want to move up too. I have different weight issues, having the 3rd row, heavier spare, rack, sliders, skids and lots of kids. This setup still allows 285s with...

Dobinsons 5th Gen T4R Suspension options - from Exit Offroad

On and off-road changes drastically for the good. Nose dive and roll gone, on ramps to the interstate improve. Only off-road I have is beach ruts, gravel roads with holes that you would slow down in a stock ride. I feel the more speed you have the better the float. Didn’t install the UCAs yet...
