So I'm sure there are a lot of different opinions on this topic but I have AAA for the peace of mind I like knowing that if I break down or need a tow or if anything goes wrong help is just a phone call away. Plus a year membership is cheap considering what you get for it.

I am glad you posted about this! I have been thinking about picking one of these up because i like the idea of being able to check and clear codes regardless of all the other features of the scangauge. it seems like a useful tool that would be worth having.

Ya i had the same codes last summer and it it turned out to be my A/F sensor I have a 2002 as well but it only had 88k at the time so I would be impressed if your A/F sensor lasted 200k

Ya when I purchased the 4r I had didn't know that it had the chrome package and I don't thing the dealer did either or they would have jacked up the price for no reason. Lucky me I guess
