I would have loved to used it too but the climate here is quite unforgiving, especially on roads ( i am 5 degrees far from the equator) the car roof can reach 60/70 degrees in trafic, so i am like locked in with all windows up and AC running all the time, keeping a window down is a suicide...

might be a false contact somewhere? a peeled wire or something similar, can you extract the whole thing to check it?

Didnt work for me, after placing the sensors back ( i have 2 of them) i get a P0138 code and a P0158 code, and in addition i get a P0606 Code ( voltage issues the first 2 and ECM failure the third one) need to look for another way round

Good evening, i know its a old post but i met a huge issue on my 4th gen srv5 2005 petrol 4 runner. And am going to attempt this hack to recover it, hope it works. my issue is lead. The place where i am we still use LEAD fuel, of course catalyst are not happy with that and i get Bank 1 P0420...

i met a lot of rust bolts when working on mine, i used heat to remove them and works like a charm, then after heating them, i rest them in white vinegar for 1 night and brush them following day with iron brush, most get back to a fantastic shape

Had same issue here, since it wasn't possible to get the spare part, i used structural silicon to seal the back glass completely and then detached the switch to prevent someone to activate it by mistake. It was not like i was winding down the back window anyhow ;)

Well, radiator was leaking, dont know the mileage, i suspect it has been fiddled with, would say 200k, mechanic plugged the hole using araldite ( epoxy resin) and on we go
