    Inv4drZm's Build Thread

Looks good and I'm sure you would find some buyers, especially if you made a 5th gen set. Don't forget to allow enough room for body flex. Fit on those look pretty tight.

CV bind. How much is too much?

Likely this. Can pull the spacer or source slightly longer shocks. Also, re: CV bind. I've seen several people clearance the CVs slightly to prevent bind. Basically pull the boots and grinding/smoothing out the edge of the housing to allow slightly greater angles

The 4th gen section NEEDS a new moderator

Now we just need somebody willing to rewrite the lift thread to actually be accurate; glad the armor thread finally looks updated. Pin the what'd you do with 4R thread? Lift doesn't change tire fitment (as is clearly evident from the 35s fitment guide thread ;) ) I honestly didn't mind the...

4th Gen No Codes No Start & Battery Light On, It's not the battery!

Got it, didn't catch that clearing codes allowed it to start. I read you didn't have a code to clear. Good luck!

    06+ Headlight swap

Yes, if you'd like to retain your factory signal/DRL there is no wiring needed other than that adapter. You will still need the new turn signal/running light pigtail connector tho to prevent water getting into the new headlight (regardless of if you want to do the wiring to make those lights...

4th Gen No Codes No Start & Battery Light On, It's not the battery!

I had a similar issue last summer. Intermittently wouldn't start with no codes, no starter cranking sound and verified good battery/alternator. It ended up in my case being a faulty fuse on the starting circuit (would need to look at the engine bay fuse box to be sure, but believe it was the...

    Replacing Rear Driveshaft?

Yes, I have. Didn't do anything special to install; unbolted old one and bolted on new one. Don't forget to use blue locktite Haven't had any noticeable balance issues

    **35's on a 4th Gen - The Fitment Guide**

Those of you running 35s with no body lift; did you do anything to fix rub on the inner fender? Specifically under the battery tray? I barely kiss at full bump. Adjust bump or did you massage it to make it work?

    Suspension lift recommendations

Ride quality is best between 2-2.5" of lift, you can run a little more without losing much ride quality (3") 4" you'll go through a lot more joints, CVs etc and have reduced ride quality I'm running personally ~2.5/2" of lift and it rides great on/off-road. If you really want the height, go...

    4Th Gen Chat Thread

Assuming not running extra weight just 32 PSI. Usually 30-35 psi depending on the tire, but some run as high as 40-45, ride quality suffers typically tho since 4R's aren't really heavy enough (short of towing) to justify that pressure

Fair enough lol. I switched to the Ford style tree clips, progressively bigger from the tip, just jam in until they grab
