It is my opinion that there are things that are not worth fixing in a 20 year old truck, and the EVAP system is one of them. There are so many little hoses, metal tubes, valves, brittle plastic pieces. Too much to go wrong it just isn't worth your time chasing it.

I pulled the trigger on this and it is sitting in the garage right now. I will post some pics when I get it installed...hopefully this weekend! I have to clean, prime, and paint it first though.

The easiest way to check this would be to plug the outbound and inbound EVAP ports on the intake tubing and see if I can duplicate the issue correct?

A good friend of mine has to get a new rear axle for his 2001 limited with ABS. We have verified the ratio as 4.10 with the spin test, this matches the axle code on the door jamb. It does not have an E-locker. Will any 4.10 axle with ABS from a third gen work as a replacement? Is a Tacoma...
