I like to calculate mileage at every fill up as a check up. Significant changes in mileage from one tank to the next could indicate a problem with my vehicle.

How about low tire pressure on the side it was pulling to? Just a thought.

Thanks, that would be awesome! The tires are michelins so I feel pretty good about that. Someone mentioned a sticker on the engine that should have the mileage of when the timing belt was changed. I'll look for that too.

That's a typo. It ends in 8 and it should register.

Thanks CAN, you give great advice and things to look for. The only problem is this is from a used car dealer so I don't have access to the latest owner. I'll check the things you talked about. Carfax shows just no accidents and just two owners with the transfer at 90k.
