try 5 mpg city... then you'll really wonder? and thats with a stock vehicle except for 99 talls.

Here's a pic of my 2000 with 99 talls installed. Raised it 1 inch exactly. (245 75 R 16's)

One of the reasons I took mine off was each time I got out of the car going to work my pant legs would always rub against them = dirt on the back leg of my pants. Plus I liked the looks of 4runners without them on.

Earlier pulled the running boards, then yesterday put 99 talls on my 2000 ltd. Raised it exactly 1". Also new rear sway bar links. Today ground some of the rust off the underbody and painted that black. Not sure if this is how to post pics but here goes.

I am going to put a new set of 99 tall coils on my 2000 and was wondering if the shocks and struts that are on it (fairly new) will work? Thanks.

Take them off. I debated for a while as well. IMO leaving them on just looks too civilized. Plus everytime I got out the back of my pant leg would rub against them. Love the look of mine with them off.
