How does the rear camera connect to the front camera? Is it wired or wireless? Does it use a composite connection? I'm thinking I could maybe split my current reverse cam wire and connect to this.

Thanks for clarifying that you were wrong, I appreciate that -- you said first time it gets really hot, not overtime. It's okay to admit that you're wrong and agree that it was an overstatement. The tape all around that wire loom hasn't unraveled. Of course it will get hotter on the wires but...

This really isn't my expertise, but I think this is an overstatement. Just buy decent electrical tape. Electrical tape is ubiquitous in hot environments.
