    5th Gen T4R Picture Gallery

Haven't posted on here in years... Here's my 2011 that's still going strong after 100,000 miles without a single problem. Still original battery and still running the BFG A/T's that I replaced the Duelers with for the last 70,000 miles. This became my wife's dd and I ended up with a Jeep...

Plug and Play LED Headlight for 2011??

well I can attest to the god awfulness of the OEM 7"ers. I definitely see your point about the cost effectiveness of the generic sizing. Thanks for the link. I'll have to do my research and a little more reading I suppose.

Plug and Play LED Headlight for 2011??

Been away for a long time showing my Jeep more love.. booooo! So after all of these years there's not a reputable company that makes a true plug and play LED Headlight for my 2011 SR5? I just pulled my crappy halogens out of my Jeep and put in JW Speaker 8700 Evo J LED headlights and couldn't...

    Roof Rack vs. Cargo Box

Thule on top, ROLA hitch basket, and dog kennel in the back.

Where Do You Haul Your Gear?

I have the same ROLA hitch basket... http://www.toyota-4runner.org/5th-gen-t4rs/64871-roof-rack-hitch-setups-here-10.html I can put at least two mountain bikes on it with my Thule fork mounts, but when I go camping I have the same problems with room. My predicament is I have a family of four...

Towing experiences with your 5th Generation

I'm looking to buy a lightweight travel trailer in the future. Anybody else towing trailers? What is the ideal setup for let's say, towing a 3500lb. trailer (loaded)? I've read through the towing threads and have gotten some great info. Thanks

Anyone try to fit a Yakima Skybox 18 or 21 on a 5th Gen?

http://www.rackattack.com/product-pages/thule-871xt-fairing.asp 38" is the right fit. It completely eliminated the wind noise like I said. I was about to take my bars off but gave the fairing a try. Glad i did.

Anyone try to fit a Yakima Skybox 18 or 21 on a 5th Gen?

I'll answer my own question in case it can help a brother out. The 50" crossbars are a perfect fit on the 5th gen. I ended up buying the silver thule atlantis 1800 box, and the thule complete crossroads rail system 45050. With the 50" bars they only stick out about 1" past the factory rail...

5th Gen Wet Okole Discussion & Picture Thread

I put mine on two weeks ago. Love em' and installation wasn't hard at all. Like everyone else said, you have to do some mashing and pulling to get behind the plastic on the front seats, but it's pretty simple. I just called Wet Okole with my vehicle info instead of going through the...

Anyone try to fit a Yakima Skybox 18 or 21 on a 5th Gen?

I'm also in the market for a rooftop cargo box. What length do the crossbars need to be so that they don't stick out too far past the outer edge of the factory rails? That Thule Atlantis 1800 looks great on Silver!

Do you think THEY are on T4R.org?

My silver SR5 is pretty incognito to the casual passer-by. I've done the interior LED and puddle light mods, huskys, ipod pedestal mount in cup holder, and on the outside it's debadged and has a plastidipped toyota emblem on the grill. I'm like some of the other guys that have modded the hell...

    120V AC power outlet

I agree with Harper.. I've got a pure sine wave inverter that I bought from DonRowe.com. I now have two outlets under the passenger seat and my inverter doesn't get hot even under a continuous load. They aren't cheap, but neither is frying your laptop with a cheap autozone inverter..

    Feelings???

I think you should install them.. Then do underbody neon and get some spinners.
