    The vacuum hoses going to the front diff may have some water in it? Check under your car!

    retrofitting HIDs into 2nd gen 4runner?

    So.. has anyone done this? As yall know already, stock lighting system in the 2nd gen SUCKS. So.. what are your thought on this? What do you think about some of the kits out there? Here's an example.... http://www.globalautoshop.com/accessories/hid_kits.htm

    Oh yeah I forgot to post the rest of it. (Wife was bugging me about something :D ) On A.D.D. cars, if you don't drive in 4wd often, sometimes the hubs will not lube itself and it will not engage. When you switch the little vaccuum hoses underneath the front diff, you are manually engaging...

    1995 4runner 4wd not engaging

    I have a 94 4Runner and had that same problem. (5 speed) I'm going to guess that it's the A.D.D. version. The front diff is engaged by a vacuum. There are two hoses going to the diff, just switch the hoses and your front diff should lock. Hope that helped.
