If you live in an area that uses salt in the roads you need to use fluid film, rust check or something similar or anything will rust. Some worse than others.

I know this is an old thread, but my 2005 Tacoma's e locker actuator is corroded beyond repair ( north east of Canada) and I found one eBay for$220 Canadian. What is involved with changing the plugs? Is it a simple conversion? Thanks

A set of ramps will get you up enough to lye under your 4runner, that a a suspension lift/bigger tires helps as well

Added husky weatherbeater IMO, and I've owned both weathertech and now these husky weatherbeater, the husky seem to have a better material for grip and the raised ridge design make it easier to clean.

Unrelated to your speaker install, but do you just pull up on the door sill pieces in the rear door openings? I got the inside part to pop up but I felt like the thinner portion that's over the rocker panels felt like it was going to break I was pulling so hard. Maybe I need to use my trim...
