I'm gonna try swapping the old gaskets from the stock bulbs into the new ones first. The Hellas are maybe a millimeter too long so hopefully that'll fix it. If it comes down to it, I'll just pull the whole housing out so I can actually see what the problem is
Did an oil change on Monday and got yelled at by one of the maintenance guys at my new apartment. Apparently we're not allowed to do oil changes in their lot.
Installed Hella Extreme yellows in the fogs. The don't quite fit right so tomorrow I'll be messing around with that some more.
Order some Hella Optilux extreme yellow 9006 bulbs for my fogs. It's seems like they are just barely too long for the housing. The tabs line up but it won't twist lock into place. FWIW they were a PITA too get out of the housing too.
Are the fogs just a super pain to get back into place?
I can't. See any of the OP's pics but I figured you weren't painting the light emitting portion. I was just curious if blacking out the reflective surrounding portion would decrease the output at all.
I'll probably be tackling this this week
Searched the forum, searched google to no avail.
Anyone know if someone makes one of those vent shades for the liftgate glass? I'm gonna be fixing some rust perforation under the seal and I'd like to try to keep anymore dirt and water from getting in there again.
