We have a Britax car seat for our son who is now 2 1/2 years old. We use to place him right by the door, but after seeing a report on the news on how you can reduce child injury by 47% I believe by putting the car seat in the center. That is where he has now been for over a year.

WOW...the fit looks great. My wife has been hassling me about seat covers because my son in the car seat just puts his shoes all over the back of the front buckets. Got some cheap Wal-Mart back covers, and he just moves it aside and puts his feet right on the seat. Definately will look into...
