1999 SR5, 5spd, leather, ARB bumper, 4wd, power everything, sunroof. 150,000 on the clock in October 2006. $7500 taxes and all. Clock now has 200,000 on it and still running like a champ.

I simply disconnected mine. Unplugged it and tore the strip off. I can manually push it up and down now, but usually just leave it up.

I have the same problem on my 99. I have been told that it is a sending unit problem and you must take it to toyota to fix. That, ofcourse, comes with a hefty price tag. I just watch my mileage, and stopped paying attention to the gauge. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

I personally love the new TRD wheels that are on the FJ cruisers. I was playing on my computer and took a picture of my 99 4runner and put the wheels on to see how they would look. May not be exactly right, but gets a good feel for what they would look like. Now I just have to find a set and...

I noticed that my rear diff was leaking this weekend in my 99 SR5 with 154,000 on it. It was not nearly as bad as i thought it would be once I got started. Come to find out the axle seals were good, but the pinion seal and the 3rd member seals were both bad. I bought a manual and the job...

I am looking for the 4 bolts and keepers that hold in the two main crossbars on a 99 4runner sr5 roofrack. Mine are trash and I dont want to buy a new rack, just these four bolts with the retainers. Thanks
