Bumping this because this walk through just saved me a lot of swear words and broken plastic clips! My hatch now opens again! Thanks!

Over the last week I have replaced the front brakes, gas tank strap and rear sway bar end link. And now just yesterday my hatch stopped opening so I'm gonna rip into that tonight and see whats going on. I guess you can only ask for so much from a 21 year old truck that cost me $2500.

Is the drivers side rear view mirror still available? Are they power mirrors? If so how much, I'm in Syracuse, are you close enough to avoid shipping?

Nothing today but over the weekend I replace all the wipers and threw in a new air filter, looks like a mouse or something had been living in the airbox for a bit before I bought the truck. I also pulled off the rusty old runningboards, drivers side was just about falling off, and cleaned up...

Haven't done much today but in the last two days, I purchased and registered my first 4runner! A silver 1998 SR5 with 157,xxx miles on it! I'll snap some photos of it today or tomorrow and add them to the photo thread.
