Having taken apart a 2015 antenna, there are 3 separate antennas inside. The XM radio and GPS are flat and sit on circuit boards. Trimmed down that shark fin antenna. Now my 6'2" T4R fits in my 6'1" garage. It's a scary looking fit, but it fits.
