yea ive seen that one, but that is why i said without the video camera beside the exhaust. all you can hear is air and distortion because for some reason, exhaust pipes are amazing video material. i was lookin for more of a drive by type thing and an idle vid.

i want to hear some exhausts on v8 4runners...video clips preferrably. maybe inside the truck sound, and outside NOT at the pipe. really want to hear the difference between borla and gibson

whatever you do, do NOT get a tube and fin cooler. make sure it is a plate and fin style cooler. tube and fin coolers dont take out near the heat a tube and plate cooler do, plus tube and fins are huge comparitvely

you need an aftermarket tranny cooler. they are cheap and worth their weight in gold... try hayden and permacool...i have a hayden.

thats fine with me too, just dont call it extreme the first rock you see or tire that goes airborne

make a quick disconnect for the rear so when you go offroad, you can pop a pin out, and slide one end of the rear sway bar loose. 4runners have nasty flex without the rear sway bar, but also have nasty body roll....:D

i think it funny some of the "extremely hard" offroad trips these guys go on are like dirt roads with really big dips in them and a rock or two.

and did i mention that if youre off road, definately disconnect your front sway bar. if you are close to your roll over angle and that things connected, if one tire nudges a rock the suspension doesnt take it up, the truck does. i learned this on my beater suzuki sidekick.

howdy...my brother had a 97 explorer on 35" tires, and it was lifted approx. 6 inches. he had the sway bar off front and rear. we live on a fairly curvy road. it was kinda scary the first few time around it cause it definately tucks and rolls into corners more, but offroad he had no problems...

first off, the traction in the rear is just fine and dandy, but there is only so much articulation can do for you. if you flex, it is always taking weight off of one tire, and with the open diff our lovely 4runners have, you may as well have 1 wheel drive. 4x4 has the weight of the motor and...

there is a trd supercharger, BUT it has been discontinued. too many explosions of 4.7s.

be careful with the intakes with the oiled filter. the oil off of them can foul your mass air flow sensor, which is big $$ i recommend supercharger...:biggrin2:

does gibson make an exhaust that exits out the side instead of the stock position? i noticed yours exits in the stock position.
