Im getting a P1780 PnP switch, replaced it with brand new, still get code, and my reverse light stays lit all the time.....any suggestions?? ...HELP! oh ya, the truck starts and drives just fine, just that dam pesky check engine light and the reverse lights.

411,000 4Runner miles, 97 SR5 4x4 Auto , no noise no leaks no major repairs to any part of it. and I drive it everywhere, tow my toys, (12 foot enclosed trailer with 2 quads)

Ive got a 3rd gen SR5 4x, 2 inch spacers on front and a 1" body lift, besides KING or Fox im looking to change up from Bilstien, and opinions on a different spring combo, it is to soft of a ride (mushy in cornering) Thanks to all opinions good bad or indifferent. ....oh im currently on 265/75...

curious...what exactly are you looking to do with your Runner? you never mentioned your needed result.

If the boots have been torn for more than a couple days driving then replacing the entire axle is best for longevity, one puddle has enough grit to ruin the knuckle in a very short time

wound up being the most obvious...the guage fuze.....but have aquired another peculiar electrical weird one, while on frwy when i hit my blinker, either direction, the trans kicks down a gear, from OD to 4rth.....strange

my 97 Runner has a simular issue, I turn key on and only the airbag light lights up, it starts just fine and runs just fine, no guages work and when i disconnect positive while running it dies, replaced alternator and still the same.....any ideas and thanks in advance.

Actually its Duplicolor matte black, just a temporary fix, getting ready to do a full 3 color paint. ..
