Great write up! After reading this post I ordered and installed one of these, only thing I did different was use all the fittings that came with the set up, and I haven't put the drain hose on yet.

I wouldn't say that. There are plenty of SR5 4WD owners on here who have done some serious off roading and had no issues with their rigs. That's not to say that the TE isn't more off road capable but the SR5 4WD is a plenty capable serious off roader... IMHO :amen:

My bad, I missed that. :dammit: I don't think they would cause much of an issue if any. Those with Gobi ladders were buying them as replacement because their stock struts were prematurely sagging over time with the ladder. If anything I think they would just last longer without the added wait...
