I sold my FJ Cruiser wheels that came on my 4Runner and switched them out for earlier gen Tundra/Sequoia wheels painted black. I really like the way it turned out.

I have the exact same wheels but mine are painted black. I would be a little upset if they were going on the 4runner but with the color scheme I have in mind for my 80 I am okay with them being black.

From my understanding, it is a very smooth dirt road. Buddy was joking around and said you could set your cruise control at 70 and you wouldn't have any issues. But did advise to keep your head on a swivel with all the large game (elk and deer) that roam around the Rim Road.

On my 80 I have the KO2 in 315/75-16 and I have 14k on them and they still look brand new. With the new 3rd Gen it has some KO2 as well and they look great. The KO2 as far as braking distance is one of the best especially with a heavier vehicle like the 80.

Super jealous, one day I will have a 5th Gen. Until then I will be content with my 3rd Gen 4Runner and my 80.
