Is 5 degrees of caster too much?

For what it worth, after installing 6112/5100 1.75"/1" lift with JBA UCA got it back from alignment with 4.8/5.2 deg caster (and everything else on spec). Seems to drive just fine, and this reputable shop assured me no harm. I run 275/70, so no rubs, but may go 285/70 route on next set of...

    TPMS Caution

That is a nice practical joke. We should spread the word.

2019 Pro; with or without rear sliding cargo deck

Or just forget the vanity color, get TRD Off road premium, get Trd Pro rim and 275/70LT C load tires, get 6112/5100 Bilsteins with 1.5"/1" lift springs, get nice aftermarket stereo and speakers that is better than JBL and horrible entune, get a better roof rack, and spend the money still saved...

2019 Pro; with or without rear sliding cargo deck

I just cut up a few old sleeping pads to the thickness needed to level it off. Then I have extra pads with me. Place an inflatable one on top. Need to sleep at a slight angle though - I wish it was easy to remove the flip forward seat pad.

2019 Pro; with or without rear sliding cargo deck

I looked at the sliding deck and for me it seemed like a terrible waste of space and weight. But I am quite strong and have no trouble loading and unloading things.

    Sound deadening doors?

But one still needs to start with butyl pads to absorb vibration in the outer skin. Makes MLV fat more effective. I have also added a panel of Noico foam to the middle of the door panel. Also for sound quality - dissipates things a fair bit. I “think” it improved road noise, but not...

    Sound deadening doors?

Great sounding audio has an effect of reducing road noise distraction.

    Sound deadening doors?

I did. It is very noticeable for music quality, with better speakers especially, less noticeable on road noise, though there is some effect. 20% effort 80% effect approach here is just to put a bunch of sticky butyl mats - I like Noico brand for price to quality - 50% coverage for outer door...

    TRD's w/ KDSS - Lower Ground Clearance???

They obviously measured it all wrong, as you are right ant that part is NOT the lowest point.

    TRD's w/ KDSS - Lower Ground Clearance???

You are wrong. There is not difference between two versions of that skid. There is not difference in general, as that bar is not the lowest point. And my KDSS RCI skid did not drop clearance as you claim it does. I have no idea what you measured, but I have compared my vehicle, to my...

    TRD's w/ KDSS - Lower Ground Clearance???

Your numbers are wrong. There is no difference in clearance between RCI skids with and without space for KDSS bar. And it is more about articulation and protection. Wife’s GLC with air suspension jacks up higher than 4Runner. It would not go nearly as far before three wheeling and getting...

    TRD's w/ KDSS - Lower Ground Clearance???

Front skid extends further but not lower. Still hit front valance first for approach. This is with RCI aluminum skids. I have no idea how you got your numbers. KDSS bar sits higher off the ground than many other bits. And it improves articulation and road manners by a lot.

What would you like to see in a 6th gen?

Modern 8 to 10 speed is all I would want. They are pretty darn reliable nowadays, shift great, and it would improve both on and off road riding and mileage. Engine is fine. Don’t change it. 360 degree camera system is surprisingly useful from parking to tight spots in the forest. Well...

2020 TRD Pro Updates - Army Green & Push Button Start

I would take the new Land Cruiser Prado. I could have taken the current Land Cruiser, but it is too large and easy to trash for my use (hunting trips and such).
