What is the condition of the forest road? If it's anything like ours here in AZ, I wouldn't air down at all. Waste of time and effort on a well maintained, flat, relatively smooth dirt/gravel road. Also, if you do air down, do you have a way to air up before you travel distance on hardball...

Absolutely normal. It's cold valve train noise. LS3 owners stress over it (the "sewing machine" sound) constantly on forums. Its harmless, and goes away for the most part as the motor warms up. Don't stress over it.

Front wheel bearing. When you turn right, you're changing the load on that bearing, causing the noise to cease.

Since the throttle body is not involved directly in the combustion process, it's doubtful it will experience carbon build-up. They do become a bit dirty from oiled filter elements and general dirt that slips by the filter over time. Directly to the OP's question, no, you should not need a fuel...

Good question, but I didn't ask. Funny, just thought about that when I looked at a Prinsu rack a minute ago. I would call and ask the owner, Don, or his son, Don Jr. I looked at my front wind deflector, and it seems easy enough to notch it out for a light.... Might even consider doing it...

I have an RPM Fab full roof rack, and used their no drill option for the front feet. Their rack is very similar to the Prinsu, and the no drill option fit well, and holds the front of the rack in place nicely. I do not see any issues with it.

I have to say, after many years, on many performance car forums (yes, owning and working on those cars too), engine, trans, and diff fluids are one of those areas where I believe owners are both passionate and tend to over think the issue. Lubricants have become far more advanced than them were...
