puck led lights I placed some led lights under the dash in my 4runner, you use a little remote for variety colors..kinda funky but its a change. tape light seems to be brighter.

thats where i am now..99 limited 308k...got a back up and sorta treat it like a ol lady. Sits in the garage and is ready to go anytime.

1999 limited Reference emblems: i know you can remove plastic emblems with fishing line but anyone have thoughts on how to reapply them. I dont want to use a glue or expoxy, does someone make the rubber stuff...thoughts appreciated.

1999 limited bought from original owner in 2008 with 140k now how has 303k.

300k original condition, odometer pic wouldnt upload. owned since 08, 2nd owner, taken care of, garaged. been the best vehicle i ever owned period.

emblems what year is your 4runner. I have a set of emblems, but always wondered how to properly attach them..the original sticky stuff wouldn't be dependable.

dipstick length I pulled one to have an extra..and noticed the difference in mine also...my truck is 4wd...the one I pulled wasn't..maybe that is the factor here...the senior pros on this site should clarify if possible.

what did you buy as a replacement?..i got 292k and was just thinking about the future.

why bother with electric, you probably will set it and forget it. I am sorta in the same boat, most leather seats I find in the junkyard are bad.

gas gauge got a 99 perfect looking, don't know why I pulled it but its not 4wd so its just sittin in my garage. miles unknown

removed old steering wheel, replaced with one that is in good shape.
