Exact same moonroof problem here. Dealer wanted $1,700+ to replace the entire assembly (except the motor.) I pitched a fit and Toyota cut it back to around a grand. Better than nothing, but it still sucks to have to spend $1,000 to fix the moonroof on a 3 year old $40,000 Toyota.
