I did this at first too. Based on the photos, I bet that's what happened here.

Also, a comment on the Thule T2 and Sidearm (roof mount version) -- don't bother using the built-in lock on the ratcheting arm. It doesn't secure the bike to the rack at all -- if you were to deflate the tire, you could swivel the arm away, even with it "locked." Just use a cable lock.

FWIW, the Kuat will tilt down with bikes attached to it. I don't know if it moves far enough such that bike handlebars will clear the hatch on the 4R.

I went down the path of building without paying attention to weight, on a Jeep Rubicon. Steel bumpers, sliders, skid plates, tire carrier, misc interior stuff. It definitely had an effect on performance. Went with aluminum bumpers, synthetic line winch, no rear tire carrier, stock skid...

I have that same group 31 Die Hard marine battery, going on 3 or 4 years now. X2 on what Hokie said - it fits, barely, in the stock location and with the stock tray.

Odyssey makes the Die Hard Platinum - not Optima. I was just referring to Optima as an example of one I remember that had problems with the side terminals.

Might want to ask Odyssey (manufacturer). I remember that there was an issue with winch loads on the side terminals on some Optima batteries, don't know if that's still a problem with Optima.

Rust free? 4WD? Buy it. I wouldn't sell my 55k miles 2008 4Runner for $18k.

The odd thing is that you can buy 85 octane all across Utah, at lower elevations than Reno. And it's not sold anywhere around Washoe/ Douglas/ Carson. So I don't know what the reasoning is with it...

85 is out across central and northeastern Nevada, southern Idaho, and all over Utah. Supposedly with higher elevation, you can use lower octane -- but I haven't found that to be the case with the 4Runner. I don't think I've tried 93 in the 4R. I usually buy gas at Costco (the one off Plumb)...

That alignment report shows 3* of caster -- that should be fine. For the guys saying it could be higher -- isn't the top of the factory range only 4*? FWIW, my 4R after last alignment was at about 2* of caster, stock control arms. Drives fine, no wandering.
