How does the 5th gen fit tall drivers?
I'm surprised no one experiments to see what other seats will fit into the 5th GEN. Would the Lexus GX seats fit? What about the seats from a LX570? I believe there was a thread here where someone put seats from a BMW in a 5th GEN 4Runner. Perhaps seats from a German SUV-say what you want...- omega3651

The reason why the responses are all over the place is because some drivers have short torsos and long leg lengths versus other drivers with long torsos and shorter leg lengths. Should I move up from my T4R to a Land Cruiser?
Why not just get both a T4R and a LC200? Best of both worlds and you'll be driving both of them for the next 20-30 years. In all honesty-the current 5th GEN 4Runner is the modern day 80 series with IFS and more modern electronics. The 200 series LC is really only 2 inches longer than a 100...- omega3651

Brakepad check at 32,000 Miles, 80,000+ Miles,101,000 Miles
Got 130K on mine and still had life left in them. Unfortunately, my original wheel bearing on the driver side rear wheel went out so I replaced both rear wheel bearings and replaced both rear wheel discs and pads just because. I still have 3mm left on the front pads after 130K miles on...- omega3651
