Could you guys help me out? I am evaluating the 6th gen as a replacement tow vehicle. I have read some conflicting reports about what the real world payload capacity is of these trucks. Would you guys mind sharing the sticker inside your drivers door that states the payload capacity?
Everyone has a standard but man that is a low one. I have towed with my 3rd gen all over the place from the rockies to Florida. My 4runner has about 100hp less than you. I found the experience to be adequate.

Patience is key. I would not tell anyone to go buy a 3rd gen to tow a small (3k dry or less) travel trailer. I would tell someone with a 3rd gen that wanted to a small travel trailer to get one though.

I forgot to update this. The alternator is good to go. The fan in the RV seems to have been the guilty party. I towed it another 1000 miles or so without issue.
