My 3rd gen doesn't have much in the way of mods. Just an OME suspension system and a fully documented maintenance history. I was surprised how much the dealer offered.

Wiring it directly to the battery works each time, every time. Plus it's good to develop the electrical skills to crimp or solder wiring. Crimping butt connections is actually better, in many cases.

The first time it bails you out, it will have been worth it.

A couple of thoughts: 1. I can't believe how much work you did to your 4R. Holy sheet... wow! 2. I wondered how you got that desert tan color. Nice job! 3. How do you like your new Tacoma? I've got a deposit down on one. The only debate has been Super White vs. Sand. Wife keeps calling...

Wow, that looks great. I don't think I've seen a 3rd Gen with a snorkle before. And the TRD Pro wheels are a perfect compliment. Are you getting any tire rub?

Wow. I've had this issue on my 3rd Gen for... 15 years? I just pump the brakes a few times when it's super cold out and the problem goes away. Now I know what the problem is. Thanks!

Dang. Mine is only at 216K miles and very few issues. I just listed it for sale and now I'm rethinking that. Maybe I should just keep it. Probably wouldn't drive it much. Maybe I should just stick it in the garage...

Good looking rig and a fair price! I should know, I'm selling mine too. I'll post it soon. I didn't know the '98 had a analog odometer. They must have changed over to digital in '99.
