As cheap as wire is...buy plenty. You DO NOT want splices in your wiring. I'd also buy a top quality wire (Pheonix Gold or Monster Cable). When I did my system back in the day, it took me over 8 hours. As I removed the seats & carpet to get wiring ran for 2 subs & 2 amps in the rear cargo area.
