The standard hood is great as it covers the engine like a boss! plus it raises up effectively with the struts. The hood also deflects debris and bird crap with 100% effectiveness. Someone post a photo of a STi with a bird on the intercooler...

If ford would have simply put the heavy duty gas engine and trans in the raptor... the truck is perfect except for the unreliable junk under the hood. These are facts. Don't put a loan on something that will blow apart like a Raptor

Those husky liners sound unsafe. Carpet mats seem fragile but they arent at all. I get my vehicle interiors detailed, the carpet goes in looking destroyed with everything from kids vomit stains to grease and they look new after.
