Anybody know how to get a window back on track?

I got impatient and just went and gave it a shot lol Luckily, the window regulator turned out to be pretty easy to remove! I just used some painter tape to hold the window up after unbolting it. Pulled the regulator out, popped the track back in place, gave it some grease, and success! Window...

Anybody know how to get a window back on track?

Few months back somebody broke into my '93, forced the passenger window down. This popped the window off the track inside the door. I managed to pull the window back up and I've just left it since then, been lazy. Only way I can think to fix it is pull the whole window and regulator out to get...

Lmao, I didn’t realize the 2nd gen was considered the step headed red child around here. That must be why I like mine so much, I just love ugly/weird cars!

    Red October II

Man you’re giving this thing the works! And as a welder, I’ve got to commend you for putting down decent beads. Seen many, many builds with crap welds all over, nice to see something put together more properly. I’ve got a second gen 4Runner, my first Toyota and first truck ever, only had it...

What did you do with your classic T4R today?

Truck goes straight now! New parts day! Finally got around to replacing the original 158k mile tie rods on my 93. A torch is almost mandatory for the job, at least if your car was originally from the east coast like mine was. All that rust just welds the tie rods into that tube clamp, and they...

What did you do with your classic T4R today?

Today (and yesterday), I cleaned up the interior of my new rig. For how old it is, the mileage is low, and the driver’s seat is the only one with any wear, so the rest of the interior cleaned up nicely. I’ve also started the long and arduous task of replacing every vacuum hose under the hood...

    Exhaust System Question

If you're looking for a cheapo option, I'm going to be replacing my completely rusted out muffler tomorrow. Welding pipes from the old muffler to a new $35 noname garbage thing from the usual suspects. Will let you know if that works out!

1st & 2nd gen 4-runner tech (factory service manual and common fixes)

That link is great, it's a live directory of the FSM! Wish it was all contained in one PDF though, does anyone have a copy like that?
