Had some fun with a fish-eye. I took a chance and bought a Bower 8mm fish-eye lens, and I have to say I'm impressed with it. The clarity and color it produces are very nice to my unprofessional eye. The following pix are from Devil's Lake State Park in Wisconsin. All were shot with a Canon...

Maybe a little brightness and contrast tweaking to bring out the faces a little more. This will be easier if you are shooting in RAW and have Photoshop or Lightroom. A bit of sharpening might be good too unless the ISO is up there.

Not sure if your looking for a sling pack, but I just got the Naneu Correspondent C7, and so far I'm happy with it. It fits the two kit lenses with a Canon T3i and a battery pack. It also has a couple pockets for filters, batteries, and a memory card pouch. I just got it so I haven't been...

    1. Shooting with Canon T3i with 18-55, and 55-250 EF lenses. Lightroom 4 for post. My previous camera was a Canon A1 that still works. 2. My main interest is landscape and architectural photography. I'll stop short of saying I'm good at it...just respectable maybe. 3. I want to...

Thanks for the info on the comparisons between LR4 and DXO...very helpful. I'll have to download the DXO trial and do my own comparing. In the meantime, I'll try to give LR4 a proper workout.

What does DXO Optics do that Lightroom 4 doesn't and vice versa?

    Thump/Bump sound underneath driver floor?

I had a similar issue a while back, it turned out to be a sway bar bushing that needed replacing.

10 most dangerous states to drive in

11...Wisconsin Many drivers here display legendary tailgating skills. Makes me wonder if they teach it in drivers ed. A good number of folks also don't seem to know how to merge...they just meander onto the freeway at 35 -40 mph. And for crying out loud...stop texting while driving!

    Hello to eveyone, noob questions...

The V8 has a timing belt, the V6 has the chain. I don't know about the V6, but Toyota recommends replacing the V8's timing belt every 90,000 miles.

    Running board lights

Good idea...I think I have some left over from another project that might fit.

    Running board lights

Yeah, I was figuring I'd probably have to get a new connector. I should probably X2 when the other side goes out. Thanks to everyone for the help.

    Running board lights

I'm wondering if the white connector comes apart, or do I need to replace it? Do your stock running boards have a place for the light to go? My running boards have the wiring going into the middle of the board, internally splitting off to power the bulbs on either end.
