Yeah it seems the lack of led drl's was a last minute cost-cutting move. Or maybe they didnt want to step on the GX460s toes. In any case, I think the sharp upper edge element of the 2014's headlights was meant to be led but then it never happened. Led drl's would've been awesome..

In regard to the seats, what's your weight and height? I am 6'2 180#, and the seats did not feel comfortable in my first try of the 2014 Limited at the dealer yesterday. Did you try the seat ventilation? It felt weak to me. And I agree with you that it seemed noisy. But it was a nice package...
