    I got me a 4runner - it's a blank canvas, what should I do?

One of the best mods you can do is the Tundra brake upgrade. When you feel your stock rotors start to warp then you should look into it. You may need spacers to allow those rims to clear the larger calipers but then you're laughing. No more yearly brake jobs. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk

Sorry, I should have read the other 8 posts where you mentioned that.

Judging by the stance, I'd say you already have spacers on there?

A few pictures of my Runner

Just read your whole thread. Great work and detailed build explanations. I hope you feel better soon, get a girlfriend and a high paying job... (Or a rich girlfriend) You've inspired me on a couple things. Your grill is great, that might be first.

    gas mileage go-to fixes

Dirty air filter will take miles off. Same with a dirty fuel filter. Also make sure your vacuum hoses are in good shape with no cracks and run a bottle of fuel injection cleaner through.

    Gas mileage dropped after tune-up

Seems to be running the same as before. Same power, and everything seems smooth. I haven't checked to see if vacuum hoses are tight but I'll do that tomorrow.

    Gas mileage dropped after tune-up

Thanks for the reply. Plugs and wires were done last year so those are still good. My wife works at a quick lube company so all fluids get done regularly. Air filter is brand new too.

    Gas mileage dropped after tune-up

Hey guys, a little while ago I did a suspension job and new wheels/tires on my truck. At that point I went from 275 miles per fill to about 245 due to the larger tires and heavier wheels. So, recently I went for a tune-up to try and get some miles back. They did the fuel filter and pcv valve...

For those running stock coils on billies

I found that the middle setting was about 1.25" lift on the front. Don't know if it makes a difference but mine is a 2002 and I used the Bilstein 5100's.
