Very helpful thank you! i heard about the rattling and scratching with the stock mounts rubbing when it sits on the rack, and like you 1 inch seemed too high to my liking. lucky sherpa makes the half inch mounts and with my tent on the way, install soon!
tent mount?
blksubykid - sorry if this is old or if you've answered elsewhere, but how did you mount your tent? Did you use the Sherpa tent mounts or the mounts from CVT? im in the market for the same CVT and looking into the mounting system first.
