I think the 9-thick-wire qoulc have worked if you had it hooked up to aftermarket speakers..ven if they did cut the harness...the thing is that the amp load could have been too much and could have melted the wires..but maybe not...
So they didnt run better wires to the speakers from the 9-wire-thick cable? They just connected it to the stock harness wires and called it a day?
What kind of speakers did they mess up? And what do you mean by "destroyed"?
Also you should still consider putting wire loom, if you ever need to...
HOw did you run the signal from the amp under the seat to eh speakers?
The wire you used was a an all inclusive wire corect (had 9 different wire, 8 for the speakers and 1 for the signal?) You just used the RCA's from the HU to send signal to the amp then used the thick wire to send signal...
DAMN! That is creative. NO WAY would i ever attempt something like this...its just really insane...I would just buy an after market HU and call it a day.
But GOD DAMN man...that is awesome!
