Man...that would be great. I suspected that it might be harmonic vibration from the exhaust--it's the only thing I haven't addressed. I've done plugs, seafoamed the engine (to clean the injectors, etc,), and MAYBE it minimized it a bit, but not much. Let me know what happens with the shield.

Okay, one last post for the day, and then I have to get to work. This is addictive. I've listened to some sound tests on youtube of new exhaust systems, and while I want the performance of an aftermarket exhaust, I like to keep my V6 as quiet as possible. Is this a pipe dream? (no pun intended)

On question #1: More specifically, it is definitely in the engine or drivetrain. The vibration occurs in any gear (1st thru 4th), at any speed at which the engine is turning 2500 rpm's, OR in neutral (standing still), revving to 2500 rpm. Tires are not involved (replaced since buying). But...
