My bump stop for the tire swing out sheered off. Weak weld I guess. Also one of the bolt heads on the inside of the swing arm rubbed the paint off of my rear hatch, about half the size of a penny. It took ten months to receive as well...
Would have have gone with cbi if I had a time machine.
Forget the digital display part of it. That's just what tipped me off. I've calculated my mpg 1980's style for the last 2 years and in the last two fill ups I've gained 2mpg, that's the takeaway.
Random increase in mpg?
2 weeks I reset my digital mpg display and I went from 15.2mpg to 17.5mpg. My mpg has been consistently 15ish for about a year now(after mods). I went to the gas station 2 times and on both fills I was at ~17 after doing the math!
27k miles on a 2015
Same driving habits...
Googling around it looks like you lost ground on ecu electrical or similar(I'm not an expert on auto stuff). I would check the code myself just to verify and look for loose wires, there are electrical diagrams out there if needed.
I would also find a different Toyota if you don't have luck...
My SSO rear is rusting after 2 weeks and my Demello front was rusting after 2 months. I really wished I had just opted to powdercoat locally because the cost of return shipping will be more than to just pay for it myself.
Hey Y'all let me know next time there is trip planned, I'll come down from Seattle. I visit maybe 6 or 7 times a year for family and always take a day to offroad.
