Whatever Toyota comes up with I have a feeling it will not be aesthetically pleasing. I really wish they do some nice clean timeless design on next 4R.

I’ve had Apple CarPlay in of my current cars for 3 yrs now and it has been working flawlessly...to all of you naysayers, there is nothing to fear, it is a great addition to otherwise terrible infotainment system in current 4runners. I use it for maps, music, voice commands etc...great stuff.

Just tested brand new 2019 SR5 premium, all fine at speeds under 60 mph. Hit 70mph on interstate and vibration was so bad that even the salesman said, there is something wrong there. We tested another one on the same route and pretty similar shake. How the f*€% can Toyota get away with this...

To me part of the appeal is lack of these electronic nannies in 4R. If they only offered it with manual gearbox, it would be awesome.

I wouldn't touch Tesla, hell no. Highlander could work but I just don't see myself driving it.

OP - just curious, how did you end up in 4Runner from S3? I am contemplating getting 4Runner and giving up my mk7 VW GTI...I am afraid I am going to miss it.

Well I've been researching new 4runner and have decided to get it, but this steering wheel vibration may scare me away...I absolutely cannot stand vibrating steering wheel in a car, let alone in a new $40k car. And for sure I don't want to deal with fixing it right out the door. How prevalent...

Hello, potential new owner here :) I was quoted $37250 (+tax, title, tag) for a 2018 SR5 premium, 4x4, with3rd row, power moonroof, running boards, all weather mats. Is this a decent priceor should I keep looking? Located in SW PA. BTW never owned a 4runner before, currently drive mk7 GTI.
