I followed the link above to disassemble and then wrapped it with vinyl I got off Amazon. Also added the TRD shifter. I think the combo looks much better than the wood trim.

I drilled a hole and mounted mine today on one of the empty blanks. Because I'm a bit OCD I went ahead and had the dealer order me another blank for $7.10. That way when I sell the T4R I can remove the Sprint Booster and replace the blank....

FYI I just installed this kit from Precision LED on a 2018. A bit pricy but no blue tint at all and they include plastic trim removal tools. They also have a good video on youtube that really helped me not break anything...
