Rim/Tire update Upgraded to 34x10.50R17 BFG KO2's on Forged TRD 17" wheels:

Been really happy with them so far, I would imagine the rebuild time frame would be on par with any comparable shock (Fox, King, etc). The anodized bodies have sure held up better than your traditional zinc-plated shock bodies that usually look like hell after a year or so.

Don't regret it at all, more room, more power, more options, etc, etc. Like others have mentioned the one downside was no factory E-locker like I had in the 2000 4Runner but I never really needed to use it anyways.

Really digging their ride quality and the adjustability on them. I just put them through the wringer over the weekend out in Death Valley. Like a Timex, they take a licking and keep on ticking.

And installed some TOTAL CHAOS Lower Control Arms, Spindle Gussets, and Rear Links:

Getting "high" in Colorado (California Pass 12,960 feet)

The week after getting back from Montana it was off to Ouray, CO for the 12th annual FJ Summit.

470SNC, They have been building high-end ATV, UTV and snowmobile shocks for almost twenty years now and are based out of Canada. They are expanding into the truck and SUV market and bringing some cool new features while maintaining a similar price point to a comparable shock (Fox, King, etc)...
