After chasing a creak for two years, I read in the forum to put wd-40 on the hood latch and the hood struts. Creak gone. Pretty sure my problem was the latch. I couldn’t believe it.

Just to close the loop on this, I was still getting a slight creak, so I wd40’d the hood support struts and the hood latch, and now it is completely gone.

Just want to say that I have had this creak for three years, and tried the hood supports fix, and it worked!

Dealer blades Sorry to revive an old thread but just wanted to say that I replaced my wiper inserts at the dealer in conjunction with my 15k Toyota care visit, and paid $25 (total) which is cheaper than any Amazon replacements, and I didn’t have to touch them. And, the new ones work perfectly...

This happened to me in my new 18 limited, but after a few days, it fixed itself. I’m still having trouble with frequent “insufficient connectivity” messages when directly linked via usb. Hoping that fixes itself too.
