Here you go! There are multiple options for gearing. Toyota Tacoma / FJ / 4Runner Lefty Atlas Transfer Case

I made these with some 2” square tube and a buddies old sliders. I welded legs to the frame with 1/4” plate welded on the frame first. I cut the old sliders down and made the kick out. They’ve been problem free and work great on the rocks.

Installed mine yesterday, hitting the trail today for some "testing"

I work a rotating schedule, currently have sat-mon off. From June until August I’ll be off fri-sun. Then August through October I’ll be off tue-thurs. So I’ll definitely be up for some weekday trips. Ditto on the no kids and wife doesn’t care. Lol

I might be in for a day trip to the high lakes on Saturday.

I just installed a set last weekend and had the same issue. I set it on my vise jaws, with enough room for the pin to go down. Then used a hammer to set in in position.

Rocks are cool and a little water crossing.

You will be fine without lockers. Big tires and airing down works great for snow wheeling.

The trail isn’t difficult, the group I was with had quite a few vehicles with 33’s and smaller tires. We used to go up all the time with stockish/mildly built rigs. There are a lot of spots to check out and I think it’s worth the drive.

I’m planning on going back up to the high lakes this coming Monday. It’s supposed to snow more up there, which in my opinion makes it more fun. I will post up some pics when I get back.
