I guess since I haven't seen mine yet, I'm hoping to solicit experience from somebody who's ripped the head unit out to find what it's capable of. I would think that the optional 6-CD changer has an interface to the head unit, somehow controlled by a button on the radio that acts as an aux...
there has to be a way...
Is there some sort of auxilliary input that can be used (i.e. for the optional 6-CD changer) to run a line-level input?
Otherwise the factory unit is coming out so my Alpine with aux inputs can play my iPod without static and noise.
