I've got the same issue (slowing down then trying to accelerate with the long delay (~1sec) before actually accelerating). It is extremely annoying and borderline dangerous. It seems worse now than when I first got the truck (original owner). It drives me crazy! I've had 2 3rd gen 4runners...

I really don't want to part the system out right now. BTW the amp's output in the configuration is 300 watts. 150x2.

Yeah, the PAC TR-7 is the video bypass. You can watch video while driving. The unit has dual zone capabilities. I had a tv tuner hooked up. I could watch the news while waiting for my daughter to get on the bus and a she can watch a DVD cartoon on the flipdown unit fed from the IVA D300.

I would recommend a AVIC D3. NAV, DVD, iPod, plays tons of formats. Easy install. Only paid $800 with steering wheel controls, ipod interface etc..
