    Overly Sensitive Steering

What is the negative effect of having too much caster? I watched one youtube video where the moved the adjusters to maximum caster position? Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk

So are you saying I should be fine with it as is, or the I can get enough by adjusting them with my lift setup? Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk

I just went to look at the lower control adjusters and it appears to me that they are set to very little positive Caster. I think I might take a shot at aligning my self. I think I totally understand the principle behind Caster, Camber and Toe.. I don't know how I can determine the caster...

    Overly Sensitive Steering

Like I said in an earlier post, I am using 4wd coils for about 1 to 1 1/2" lift above stock on my 2wd. During my research I am seeing that with much lift, in order to get the caster back, I may need custom Upper Control Arms? With my setup, do you believe I can get plenty of caster? Thanks

Yes it is a 2wd, but I wanted a little lift over stock and went with 4wd coils.

    Overly Sensitive Steering

I've had several cars over the last couple of years. I know some of them were drive by wire (I think). My wife has a Mazda CX5, I have a 2011 Dodge Ram 2500, I have also had a 17 BMW 5 series as well as a 2013 BMW i3 Electric. I don't expect it to drive like any of those but just cant believe it...

Yep, steering column seems good. I know about the slop your speaking of as my first one had that. Usually caused by the slip connection built into it getting loose. The part that is supposed to collapse during a collision. As to the alignment, not sure if it was done correctly but it was done at...

    Overly Sensitive Steering

My 3rd gen has 129k miles and is the second one I have ever owned. This one is my daily driver and most of my driving is at about 70mph on the interstate. I have replaced all shocks and coils and steering bushings. I have had it aligned but it still feels overly sensitive when driving...

    02 2wd Recommended suspension parts

I haven't began working on it yet and just securing all the parts I need. Are worn tire rod ends likely the culprit that makes this thing sensitive to wind on the interstate. I have limited funds at the moment and need to target the problem. If it is the the tie rods, should I replace both...

I just thought of something. Will 02 struts and shocks work with 99 coils?

Okay, thanks for all the feedback everyone. I think I will go the moog spring route for a 99 4wd. I just am asking for feedback confirming that front and rear coils for a 99 4wd will indeed fit my 2002 2wd? Seems I am going to have to order online and I would like to install them next weekend...
